LTJ BUKEM needs no introduction. In a class of his own, this global player sets down in BROOKLYN for a show upon what many have hailed as the best sound system in NYC. Joined by the inimitable lyrical talents of ARMANNI REIGN (GASM, Westbay, Metalheadz, Mental Sharp - Atlanta), BUKEM returns to NEW YORK armed with the latest futuristic sounds Drum+Bass has to offer.
Playing alongside is NYC renegade, label head, DJ and producer for TELLURIC RECORDINGS: PLACE 42. Native son of the NEW YORK CITY underground electronic music scene since the early 1990’s, PLACE 42 (aka JOHN CLEMENTE) has been making a positive impact on the global Drum+Bass scene for many years. Founder of the revered TELLURIC RECORDINGS label, a tireless promoter of countless successful events, and a gifted DJ supporting exclusive music from his label’s roster, this multi-faceted artist’s signature deep and rolling sound has continuously been turning heads and moving feet on dance floors worldwide. With international support of the TELLURIC imprint by the likes of LTJ BUKEM, FABIO, and BAILEY, DJ PLACE 42 continues to stay loyal to his signature, well-curated sound while moving forward within the ever-evolving world of Drum+Bass.
Rounding out the stellar bill is the welcome return of STUNNA, the established producer and BASSDRIVE RADIO dj from CHICAGO that has rocked stages and souls worldwide. A classically-trained keyboardist and working musician based in Chicago, STUNNA (aka J. Cappo) has crafted his own unique sound within the fast-paced world of Drum + Bass music. With a number of strong releases on various high-profile labels coupled with a solid Stateside and international touring schedule under his belt, this Grammy-nominated, URB 'Next 100' producer and host of BASSDRIVE Radio's popular weekly 'GREENROOM' show is determined to spread his own sound as well as exclusive tracks from talent around the world. As his prolific catalogue of solo productions, collaborations and remixes has gained global support from DOC SCOTT, LTJ BUKEM, FABIO, MARKY, LOXY, NOOKIE, BIG BUD, MARCUS INTALEX, CALIBRE and many more, it's going to be another busy year ahead.
Also hosting the evening on microphone duties is NYC-based talent T.R.A.C. - a fixture on both the local Drum+Bass and Hip Hop scenes alike, T.R.A.C.'s recent signing to the renown BarelyBreakingEven (BBE) imprint and production work with 4HERO's MARC MAC have excelled this MC into greater heights.
